Hi Debbie. I love your Tote Bag. At first glance I thought it was NOT FOR ME but when you took it step by step with easy to follow instructions I just couldn't believe how easy it was to make. As usual it was fantastic sublime stunning. THANKYOU. Your giant puppy's memory lingers on. Kitty was camera shy and your sweetheart was upset as you had Kitty with you. These are tender moments we all remember. It does bring tears into ny eyes not to see and hear doggys bark in your 2017 tutorials. I love you Debbie. I think of my 14 year young Newfoundland who will leave me very soon. Thanks for sharing and caring. 💕

Hi Debbie, I just thought to sew this bag as my sister insisted on me to do one of your bags. (I am a professional dress maker. My sister is a very big fan of you) Because of her words, I sewed this bag with an old, mosaic printed shawl by mixing another matching color fabric. Believe me, it became more than I expected with a very professional looking. Unfortunately I am unable to upload any pictures of it. This made me another stream of income besides of my sewing. (I got some orders from my daughter's university friends.)Thank you very much for your complete lessons. Stay blessed!!

LOVE your stuff. You are one of a very few people who do quality projects. I have been sewing for 47 years, since I was 10. Well, dear lady, I'm a little late to the party, but I'm here :) Can't adequately tell you how much this tutorial has helped me, but for reference, there are only two others I watch, because they, like you are very clear in describing what to do and most excellent in showing how to do it. BRAVO!! Of course, the fur babies obviously are a great help. I personally can't do a darn thing without cat and dog kibbutzing. =^^= Thank you and may the Lord bless.

Who are the 2 others?? I'm curious. If they arent any of the ones I watch I will happily share the others that I watch. but debbie is my absolute favorite. I watch many of her videos over and over.. I've made most of her projects, some over and over again. My dream is to someday open an etsy shop.

For those inexperienced sewers it will matter that that section is not in the tutorial. What a shame.

At about minute 25 she starts into that part. Make sure your recessed zipper is facing up when you do this part. Sandwich your zipper, lining and your 2 1/2 inch×18 strip and this will create the top part of your bag

Dear Debbie, You are such an amazing teacher and an obvious professional. I am just learning to sew at age sixty and your videos have helped me so much. I sent one daughter-in-law a diamond smocked bag for her birthday and she was thrilled! Now I have spent three days smocking a panel with your bows pattern. Darn, I found that difficult! I will now try to incorporate it into your zippered tote bag for my other daughter-in-law to use as a diaper (nappie) bag. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us in such a lovely way. I feel as if I know you and would love to invite you to my house to show you what you have helped me learn to make. It must be a lovely feeling to realize that you have added value and beauty all over the world!

Debbie thank you so much. Your instruction is excellent, and I was able to watch your video over and over until I "got it". I just finished my first bag. Previously when attempting to box corners, I have never been able to get my bottom and side seams to match up to box corners, but your little hint about feeling the side and back seams line up between the thumb and forefinger, by feeling when they line up, worked like a charm, even through fabric interfaced with Pellon 808, which is fairly stiff. These little tried and true methods by proficient stitchers are invaluable to us sewing newbies.
