Nice review sir, the real tasty banana chips in kerala are available in Malabar side, especially Palakkad and Kozhikode. In palakkad , as like manoj sir mentioned vadakancherry , mangalam can find lots of chips stores. But the real authentic crispy chips are available at its nearby town called Alathur. Commonly called Alathur chips. One shop named SNR chips in Alathur is famous.

This video comparing the items from two leading chips shops of CBE was very good. You have compared the taste, crispness, oil flavor, color, thickness ingredients well. During my stay in CBE until 2016 we stayed in PN Pudur. So we used to buy chips from A1 chips in Vadavalli. Banana Slice had a shop in Mullai Nagar area but we were not much satisfied with their chips. We bought banana chips and jack chips often. Once in a way we also bought chakkarai chips. We found the A1 chips items very good. One thing you have missed is the “quarter cut” banana chips. They taste damn good. In Kerala the “quarter chips” are served during feasts. I had bought these and carried to Pondicherry during 1996 for a function at my brother’s house. It may interest viewers to know that A1 chips has sales outlets in Melbourne and Sydney in Australia and are also sold in Canada. They have satisfied the Food Regulation Rules well. In US none of these are available. We get only banana chips and chakkarai chips at Patel Bros Gujarati stores. They collect from a maker who fries the bananas locally. We get nendran kai from Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala and Dominican Republic, all in S. America. Bananas do not survive in the very cold climate here. S.America has more tropical climate.

I hope u will go there and review their snacks,,,,,the same road there s one of the veg hotel also available its very famous and oldest hotel, The hotel name is Gopu Iyangar Hotel go there and try your best. when ever its normal situation in Tamil nadu.
