As presented, the aircraft looks modern and up to date and the colour scheme is beautiful. Client passengers would feel very good about arriving in this aircraft, it is very tasteful, yet subtle.

The 109 is most definitely a beautiful aircraft made even better by its matt black finish! It certainly offers us all a superb IFR opportunity. The cockpit is clearly designed for IFR rated pilots with enough instruments to make your ipad look like a paper towel.

It seems to be a little overkill using a -109 for IFR training, what's wrong with an R22 or 44 where the operating cost is dramatically lower?

Good question. I'm not a manned aerial vehicle pilot and never will be one now, but it seems to me it is more to do with type certification than 'just' an IFR rating. The bigger the thing you are licensed to fly the more you will be able to earn! BobUK.
