A10A Tamiya - 1/48 Quick Build

Welcome back!
I recently purchased this model for a discount at a local hobby store! this will be my first attempt at aircraft modeling! My father is a huge fan of the A10A and the A10C so I decided to build this for him as an early Father's Day gift! The kit is quite dated by today's standards there are huge seams as you might notice in the video and I ran out of putty and raised panel lines which are unfortunate. But I'm quite happy with how this model turned out!
Nothing special in terms of technique just used as a straight build.

Not bad but you need to work on erasing the seam lines on parts that requires gluing such as the two fuselage halves for example. Scrape off the excess, use putty amd sand it down for a better looking finish on your model

Thanks for the advice! I actually ran out of putty working on a previous model before filming this one! Ill remind myself to buy more next time.

@@Kbuildsmodels_24 I'm talking from experience passed on to me regarding this matter. I didn't think it was that important but when I saw the results on my F-4 Phantom II 1/72 kit from Italeri I was more than amazed. Your air brush skills are excellent though. Keep it up!

Hahaha thats what I was thinking but it should be okay.

You'll be fine. I've very seldom seen one leak while in a storage set up that resembles what you're doing here with it. It's usually after it's been used, near the end of it's life, and left in the electronics where it can continue to react. There's so much more cool stuff to talk about that you've done here with your build and video though! Great job on it and genius work using what you have (battery) to do what you need!
