I do feel a bit stupid, I thought the Sound sample sounded pretty good, and thought maybe it time to replace my speakers, ....then i just stopped and thought about it and then thought, but that sound came through my current speakers.

I have Pebbles V3 without subwoofer which I bought in my Country for around 25-30$, and was interested in those new one, but the price is overkill it's 110$ for 2.0 and respectivelly 150$ for this 2.1 version. That's insane.

Very cool that CREATIVE included a mounting hole on the bottom of the speakers. They might look and sound better mounted on a mini tripod.

I feel like the increase in base from that one tiny sub versus the Pebble x with a passive radiator in each speaker would not be significant enough to warrant the cost.

Thank you for including the test with the PD because I was watching a bunch of reviews and they never disclosed if they used the added usb-c (PD) plug and tbh it seems they didn't even bother because some just complain about the lack of bass. So I thank you because your review gave me the proper info.

I wonder if putting a damper (eg. foam) under the sub would reduce if not eliminate the vibrations.
@ctrlaltdel027 ай бұрын
I wonder if they sound kinda crappy just in this vid, or in live too. About what you can expect from speakers of this configuration, boosted bass with peaks in working region, extension to low end drops from cliff, can't complain about highs, but mids is clearly missing. And that lighning effect for sure adds +10 to the sound. For this price point either go with mono speaker, like some decent bluetooth one, or just get some full range stereo speakers if you want stereo. That is, if what you want is to get decent sound. If you want them to look cool and flashy, there definitely are more cheaper options, and more expensive too.

I was waiting for an update to the Pebble Plus and got excited when I saw these but the price was a but...interesting. I wonder how they compare to the Creative Soundstage V2 which is cheaper and has significantly more power output, especially in the subwoffer department. I love how these look though and that's the cutest sub I've seen lol.

I've always loved the idea if portable sub that you can power via a power bank for full portability. I did some research on Mini rig but I wasn't sold in the end it might still be a better idea maybe mini rig 4 if it has aptx lossless or ldac at least but I can always add that to any of these via aux port . I have tried Creative stage 360 and returned it because I found the bass to be too boomy even at -5. Currently using Creative stage se as daily driver for pc . I would love to hear the difference, im sure Pebble x plus has a decent/ possibly better sound tuning then what I've tried so far and overall better punchyness due to the added sub which I'm expecting to be balanced well overall as all rounder listening experience for everything..
@Piquliar9 ай бұрын
@@ProjectPewgf Oh, I haven't heard much about mini rig lately. The stage V2 might be boomy like the 360 you think? I'm hearing so much good stuff about the stage SE though, I'm considering getting it honestly, it looks perfect for me, one bar with solidly full sound that's pretty easy to set up and move around.
@ProjectPewgf9 ай бұрын
@@Piquliar I was really tempted to buy pebble x plus, still am cos of the portability but st same time I want the best all in one premium bookshelf + reference speakers with 24bit/96khz/192khz max. Stage SE is amaizing but even using usb its not as high res as its only 16bit / 44khz and a cheap Soundcore motion x300 ldac speaker playing the same 16bit or 24bit flac or wav file sounds much more cohesive & clean with perfect amount of punch in certain departments (but only using voice eq on soundcore or sometimes balance eq) I've decided these two are in my list Kef lsx ii Pebble x plus Just worried about pebble sounding a bit boxy as others had this issue with older models not sure about this one or pebble in general not heard it in person yet. If you pickup SE then the best overall eq on the remote is +2 on treble and enable voice enhancer and leave surround off unless you want to experience bigger soundstage for music but I mainly use surround for films.
@Piquliar9 ай бұрын
@@ProjectPewgf I see, yeah I do wish it was capable of higher res playback. I got my old LG G7 which I primarily use for music and podcasts and that has some pretty sweet audio both wired with the quad dac on the 3.5mm and wireless with AptX HD iirc. I'm not considering the Pebble X Plus and I doubt it'd be boomy like the Stage you had since it's using passive radiators which usually have cleaner, faster bass in my experience but can get boomy if you position it in the corner of a room sometimes.

I've had this one during one day, one day is sufficient to say that is absolutely crap for the price, even at 10 euro they are still bad. Like, the subwoofer takes over everything else, even with an EQ and the Power Delivery doesn't improve anything at all, it's rubbish, even the Pebble V2 with an EQ sounds better with a wider sounds, the treble and midrange are horrible and artificial, not surprising, Creative is a no name random Chinese brand, they mqde cheap horrible stuff and they never improve their quality and sound. Plus the design of this one are horrible, too big, the transparent coating for the RGB is horrible too, take so much fingerprint and the black coating on the subwoofer is super cheap ! I scratched it and the coating came off slightly, horrible, I hope they take this shit back, never again will I rely on videos from random people who think they know about sounds quality. Edit : They refund me entirely and i get true MR4 Edifier speakers, this "reviewer" also get triggered about my comment, check below these frustrated guys.

Hey, thanks for your comment - I really appreciate the feedback!! I wanted to check few things to understand this better. Can you share more details on your set-up on how you tested them and what audio source did you use also what song so I can do similar test. I've not found sub to be overpowering but I placed it on the floor, wonder if that makes such big difference. For the speakers and the coating over RGB, I just tried to leave any marks with greasy fingers and I can't see them - are you sure you got the right speakers and not some sort of knock off? Also Creative has been in the audio industry for a long time so hardly a no name brand and its from Singapore :)
