Thx for posting. It's interesting to see that "productive procrastination" is used in admissions. It makes sense. Sometimes you just don't want to rush to conclusions as the situation continues to evolve. The best decisions early on may materially change with new information.

Would you ever do an application reading with the applicant? Could be fun to hear their perspective as you talk through what they submitted. Things like why they chose a certain essay topic, how they decided on Michigan, talking through their resume, etc.

Happy New Year 2025!! I’m planning to apply to Michigan Law in February, close to the application deadline. My current numbers are not strong, so I’m retaking the LSAT to improve my chances. I hope the admissions team will place greater weight on my other strengths.
