A3 Class 60103 Flying Scotsman's move to Edinburgh for her 100th Anniversary 22/02/23

LNER A3 Class Locomotive 60103 Flying Scotsman moved from the ELR to Edinburgh today where she will be in Waverley Station on Friday to mark her 100th Birthday and to kick off her Anniversary Celebrations, loco and support are seen from Shap Wells in very gusty drizzle, thanks for watching.

It looks like the wind was a problem on Shap today but in the end it has worked out for your video with only one carriage on the back. I have just been told that it is being put on display at Waverley Station platform 2 on Friday.

Thanks Alistair, yes wind was very strong and blowing over but didn’t spoil the shots as you said with just the support coach on not an issue, yes in Waverley on friday for a couple of hours as that’s her 100th birthday to the day so very appropriate being the Flying Scotsman, cheers 👍

@@nige7577 I have found the times, to find them I searched on RTT east Lancs railway bury then looked around and found that it arrives after midnight there and all the timings match up with what others have told me 14:49 for Lockerbie 16:11 for Carlisle

From what I’ve heard just a couple of hours at Waverley then supposed to be returning to the ELR in the afternoon but I can’t confirm that, hope this helps.
