Nice video. The pattern is over the water on both down winds, watch for the up and down drafts on windy days on short final. Call unicom a couple minutes out if you want a horse drawn cab ride to town. They don’t come directly to pick you up, they just stop on the way by on their routes. Usually about 15 minutes to get a cab. But the clop clop is worth it. DNR runs the airport so there’s a landing fee, not much though. Lots of bar lounges with good food, Millies was good the last time we were there last fall. About a mile or so walk to town, more down hill from the airport. Finally, enjoy the ice cream and the fudge.

WOW!! Somebody that actually follows the noise abatement rules for not flying over the shore and town. Its amazing how many videos I see of people flying into Mackinac Island and not following the rules. Hat tip to you!!

Unfortunately the music ruined it for me, I like airplane noise, and radio chatter.
