A7s + Rokinon 8mm fisheye skateboarding low light test with Tohmi Shiroyama

This camera changed our night filming!
Went out night cruising with Tohmi without any battery lights and it looks natural and really good!
Rokinon 8mm with full-frame is wider than Opteka0.3 with my old camera and it's super nice!
I still don't know the perfect way to compress the files so it's not the best resolution but please take a look.

yes. i think i shot with f3.5 mostly that night. i think for 1080p shooting its not that visible.

Yes. My routine is do 1x zoom with a7s and removing the vingette on editing software.

the point of my setting is using apsc lens on full frame mode to get this wider look. some people might like it, some dont. I do love it.

Hello! Awesome video! How is it that you don't get any vignetting or black circle with this lens using it on a full frame camera? I'm looking forward to buying a fisheye lens and I am finding it quite difficult to choose, most mid price ranged lenses seem to be not so good at all. Thank you!

hi man. i'm thinking about get this camera and use and adapter to mount my rokinon 8mm 3.5 lens. what do you think about it for skateboarding? good in low light i see. what about rolling shutter effect? do you tried in 4K? have you tried with long lens? what did you use to mount it for lines? regular opteka X grip?

With fisheye lens there is no problem with rolling shutter. If you like super wide fisheye and night filming this is the best setting I think!
