Ever wonder what its like to be a manager at a horse stable? Follow along with me as we take care of and manage over 19 horses!
My name is Joel, I work and manage Sunny Knoll Stables located in North Eastern Pennsylvania. There's always something happening as we do our best to take care of these beautiful animals. Between the weather and everyday shenanigan's, who knows what is going to happen next!

My husband loves the donkeys! Oh and we really love their new blankets/coats. They are so colorful! What is their favorite toy to play with while in the stall or in the pasture? The donkeys look so cute in their blankets. I love to snuggle them. I no longer have to force my cuddles on Rocky since he got gelded..lol Rocky has always loved to be brushed though. So anyone that wants to get some bonding time with the boys should brush them. ❤️😁

---QUESTIONS: Do geldings and stallions have different needs as far as feed, stalls, or other factors? Will the stallion become the herd leader naturally? Scrolled down a ways and can't see a single question on horse gender issues. Weird. Cute is just part of what you do in the stable.

Joel, the new camera is great and no, I didn't mind the phone camera, any chance to see the horses is okay with me. You take such good care of those horses and I'm sure because of your dedication and love for your four legged charges, you will soon have a long waiting list. If the stallion is used to being around other horses after they get used to each other he should settle down. If he’s very stud acting they’ll never get along… I raised from the ground 2 stallions. One very chill and well mannered. He responded to training very well as was disciplined. The other, a pure bred Arabian was very studdy acting and high strung* and always on the fight with the others. He never, even after years with the same geldings stopped trying to kill them. I hope this stallion you’re getting is well mannered and easy going
