GREED: I just did this with my son. We went to a festival. Instead of thinking about how much things cost, within reason, I just enjoyed the day and things cost what they cost. Because, at the end of the day, I knew he was worth every penny I spent on him. We had a wonderful day!! Afterward, I felt great ❤

Love it, 31 years this coming sept 2024.. So many meetings yand ive geard people Try to explain WHY they said "defects & short comings" the most popular i think has been " oh, they mean the same" ... " they just did not wanna use the same word" .. 😅 Ive never heard your duscriptiin of defects and shortcomongs. Makes so much more sence , than the "they mean the same thing theory" Thank you so much , how you are still Sober and carrying such a good message in Alcoholic Anonymous. ♡ Lucy Alcoholic Prescott AZ

There is a reason all the steps have separate #s . Steps 6&7 in the big book are explained in pages 104 to 164. There is a reason there are 60 pages to help define what we learned in steps 4 &5.

Very thought provoking. I’m working the steps with the Celebrate Recovery Program. We are on step 5 and I’m not really sure that I have identified my character defects yet.. Maybe I’m doing it wrong 😑

Hey guys, I hope you have something to share with me. I am a guy who’s addicted to relationships and right now I am falling hard for this woman who works where I work (not precisely colleagues) and who also happens to be married. I don’t know if its me or that I thought that she had feelings for me. Anyway I am crushing really hard with all that carries with it (anxiety, sadness, anger); and right now I am no longer confident of my group and I don’t trust my sponsor. I keep going to meetings and doing service but this pain won’t go away. Thank you very much and God bless you

God simply gave us selfishness because it was necessary for Our Survival as the human race. Then He Gave us commandments and Help to keep our selfishness in check. And this is an Energy Universe..what you put out Comes Back to You. That is why everything works better for you when you are grateful and generous. 😊❤
