You asked so I'm giving you my opinion. Icon Desailly , is MASSIVELY underrated at the CB position. He's big, fast, strong. If you're half decent at defense you're gonna win the ball with with him and his sliding tackles are cracked , i haven't even gotten a yellow with him in over 50 games going very aggro. He does this slide tackle with like both legs and knocks the ball away so no chance of those ratty pin ball goals goin down. He can pass really well(short & long) and holds his own dribbling on top having an impenetrable L2 shield. I'm not sure what your rules are but that's my pick, he comes as a cdm but i switched out OTW Schlotterbeck for him and i gotta say im conceding a lot less goals and really happy i made that decision. One final thing, im not sure if he has the trait or what his jumping stats are but this guy has a good header. If you're in tight spot , need a goal and have a corner... hes the surprise X factor. He gets up there , like his waist is at the defenders head level and he just POUNDS it in with his head like its a volley.

Donovan will give Bale some Chem. If you use a manager from Wales and put Donovan in at striker Bale will be at 2 chem. Make the Manger whatever league you need it to be.
