I prefer devs having clear vision and passion for the project. And yes Antti has that but games shouldn't be collaborate effort with players. Sure they can chime in with bugs and tweaks but other than that, let the devs cook. Most of us don't understand development and want different things anyways. You see it constantly with comments "Won't buy if X is first/third person". Of course not saying that devs shouldn't close their ears but don't put too much stock on vocal minority. Often folks are just happy playing without shouting it out on forums.

I'm super hyped about this project, and I'll definitely try out as soon as it comes out. However, I think you showed some first-hand evidence on why these kind of titles can be considered "too risky" for bigger companies. You started the game enjoying the new experience and looking into the details. Before you reached the end, you died, and literally said "I'm not doing it again". I know it's a demo, but you can see how this kind of game can easily discourage some player or simply ruin their "fun" (this obviously doesn't apply to everybody). But I think it's an interesting observation. Nice video!

Aiming is a core part of any fps, yet in 2024, we are still using sliders (without context) for things like sensitivity and fov. Numerical values + multiple decimal places should be the standard. The sens range isnt wide enough, as using lower sens + 1600 dpi isnt properly supported (you shouldnt have to lower dpi). The optics also need seperate values based on their magnification. I could accept if they just defaulted to 0% MDC for each optic, but again, customization is key, and not everyone likes that value.
