There are a lot of buttons required to use in most of these ultra realistic tactical shooter, it may not be something that can be done in an intuitive way for controllers, and if the game doesn't feel good and intuitive, the kids that can't consider this fact will review bomb it, which could hurt the reputation of the more intuitive and well polished PC version.

I picked up the game on sale tonight, gifted to a buddy also. After running around solo for a couple hours, I am into it. Looks very good, getting some Far Cry 2 feelings (in a good way). Weapons sound and react good. Looking and aiming is done well. Looking forward to more maps and features and other improvements. I am a big fan of Tarkov but am kind of old and don’t get enough frames to take on the gigachads and cheaters so It’s Ok if PVE only.

I mean you could look up SPtarkov on KZbin and follow the really easy guides people have made and have a single player tarkov tmo if you wanted it. You can even find tutorials on how to make those single player tarkov games coop....it's out there. I play it everyday

PvP is what makes you love Tarkov. Trust me, any extraction shooter without PvP will get boring since there is no rush of not knowing if you will be able to escape.

May be a harsh response for me but when I hear about a game made on UE5 I'm expecting visuals that'll blow me away or at least stand out from what we currently have. Not necessarily photo realistic but this looks fairly weak visually. And man has Reforger spoiled me in the gun fire audio, so many games sound so much weaker not having that hard punch to the weapons.

Love the premis, although a lot of the weapon handling/interaction looks exactly like Ground Branch. If you told me this was another mode in Ground Branch, I would believe you. Not a bad thing though and as long as the AI is good and the game feels alive, I think it will do good.

Love where the game is just don't like being locked into a mission. Like when you go into a mission and realize its dark then exit you lose everything.... just have it send you back to lobby with what you went in with. Other than that, it's been fun.

Considering the intel extraction coop mode for Ground Branch, which is a game that has really top of the line gun handling animations and feel, I don't really see the point of buying this over Ground Branch.

The gunplay and animations look 2000's level. There's also not any option for PvP, which Ground Branch does have if you want it.

LOL!!! The title of this video was the perfect definition of how I feel about EFT. Seriously, this title was, to me, one of the best "click bait" I ever saw on youtube... hahahaha... *EDIT Holy sh*t man!!! Seriously, I watched only 3min of the video and Im already totally excited with this game, so much so that I'm seriously thinking in jumping on the early access bandwagon. It seems to me that this game is as if Breakpoint and Tarkov had a child. And I loved that idea. Now my only concern is about the IA. For a game like this, the quality of the IA will be a very important factor, IMO. They, the devs, need to do it right. They could even take some hints from the tweaked/modded A-LIFE system from the Stalker series. Seriously, to this date, I think there are nothing like that in the market.

Just don't change your graphics settings. Quite few folks with the issue of the game refusing to boot up without crashing, every time. The devs are actively looking for a solution to this. They've been great about responding and helping where they can. Will be an awesome game when its done!

Have to admit that I expect more of any game being made in UE5 after what's been demonstrated in that engine. NO I'm not expecting games to be insanely detailed photorealistic (like many of the mere walk through demos of a landscape) but it def needs to show. I was surprised when it was mentioned that this game is made on UE5. Hopefully they tweak the audio as well down the road because the weapons don't have that punch I've been spoiled by in Arma Reforger.

Your expecting too much, and Reforger isnt that good, its just an interim product prior to 4, ive played it and wasn't that impressed. Yet, each to their own, and you enjoy it. This does have potential, but will need another 6 months at least before i invest.

Looks pretty good, but some of the textures don't look sharp enough from close up. Also it suffers from Unreal Engine's pitch black shadows. Otherwise if it had more maps / objectives like you mentioned, I'd get it. Love the PvE aspect.

God I hate it when devs don't add bolt release animations on ARs. Doesn't that mean it's pretty much nothing more than asset flips? It's like Ubisoft putting Tom Clancy's name on games and doing the same. I hate it when the the charging handle is used on every reload, especially when they aren't even reloading on an empty gun. I mean, even a game made by the community like Stalker Anomaly has the correct animations lol. I'll be getting this for sure, hopefully it's just an early build I'm seeing and they have the correct animations on release. Sorry rant over.

Theres no really good way to handle PIP scopes in games unfortunately, they will always render the scene twice and cause major ghosting inside the scope
