If you are new to newjeans they are essentially a 90s throwback group... 90s RnB and its club variants of miami bass (how sweet) and new jack swing (supernatural) and 90s Urban Clubland genres mostly UK Garage but also Baltimore Club, Jersey Club and Drum and Bass/Jungle (Right Now). Having mostly 'clubland' genres gives them quite a 'mature' sound. They are very different to other kpop groups as they do genres very obscure in kpop and dont have the overly cutesy pop or girl crush or rap trap sound that makes up literally 98% of the rest of kpop girl groups.

Yep they have a 'warner bros' deal so they each have their own powerpuff girl character/persona... blue is minji, pink is hanni, yellow is danielle, green is Haerin (who never smiles... except for at the very start of their other powerpuff girls song ' new jeans' which you really should check out :P) and finally purple is maknae Hyein :)

Supernatural has a part 2 which expands the story. Something you didn't notice, is that Supernatural and Right Now are trilingual. Korean - English - Japanese. This album included Japanese lyrics to enhance their presence in the Japanse market. As far as I know, a trilingual lyrical song (not multiple translations) is very rare and my initial research has shown me thus far, that NewJeans is the first KPOP group to do this. In part 2 of Supernatural, the Japanese lyrics were changed to Korean so that the song is back to a bilingual format.

@@TotallyYas cool with you has 2 parts and is a deep story video.... you watch both for the whole story.. its amazing... its UK Garage from the late 90s and is my fave song of theirs along with 'new jeans' so yeah watch side a then side b after for the complete story :) OMG is also actually a 3rd part to their 'Ditto' song which is also a deep story lore video with 2 parts... ok wait let me put in order lol. 1. Ditto side a 2. Ditto side b 3. OMG (oh my god) also note please make sure you watch the official mv not the 'performance official mv' i've seen people make that mistake before. 1. Cool with You side a 2. Cool with you and Get Up side b thats it... aside from supernatural also having a part 2 and being another lore video all their other songs can be watched however you like... these are the only ones that need an order..

'How Sweet' on the surface level is about leaving a toxic relationship and being much happier for it... on a deeper level its said its actually about HYBE and their then situation with them.. their real life metaphorical 'car crash' moment in their careers... they still try and smile and have fun as they look for help... but the world just watches on and does nothing to help... (the animals perspectives, the people just standing motionless while they dance, the guy driving past them), you know the age old thing about how people like to watch a 'car crash' ... they slow down to try and see it but don't stop to help... when they do eventually find help their car (or situation in this instance) is still broken. When this first came out HYBE did start region blocking this and deleting comments so it adds even more substance to this theory.
