Well, here it is. I did my best to get all my thoughts out at once and elucidate them as well as possible, but yet again I don't think I did a great job. That's partly why I'm doing this though. I don't find that I can properly express myself within this format, at least in my current state. I might add a list of addendums in this comment as I think of them, since KZbin removed annotations in their relentless effort to cleanse the site of anything useful. But otherwise, that's it for me. To keep the video short I didn't elaborate on the story/gameplay aspects of the creatures shown during the Exit the Intraverse segment, so I'll do that here real quick for each one. For the benefit of people who want as much of that stuff as possible. - The Control Freaks were supposed to be the "scientists" of Axtor, overseeing bizarre social experiments and keeping track of all manner of obscure statistics. They would have a very condescending attitude towards the player and refer to everything they dislike, including the player, as "filth". They also control the machinery within their facilities, so during chase sequences they would operate machines from a safe distance to hinder them. Shut doors, reverse conveyor belts, and direct more dangerous devices at them. The only one I semi-finished was a pulse ball that would knock the player back, making for a major annoyance since some sections would include some platforming. The Control Freaks would, of course, mock the player throughout the whole thing. But there would be some catharsis, since they aren't made of "living metal" like the Broken. So if shattered with Axtor's component, they won't reassemble and the machinery in their sections becomes dormant. - The light bulb creatures would just kinda hover in place like some sort of jellyfish. Though I played with the idea of having them take interest in the player and follow them around, serving as portable light sources while hopefully also making the player question if they really are harmless. Not much more to them than that since they really only exist because I couldn't figure out a better way to light up some areas. - The toothy creatures (which I never mentioned are called Cutouts) would forcibly initiate dialogue with the player when in their vicinity, putting them through a dialogue puzzle where they have to choose the "correct" responses. If the wrong response is chosen, the Cutout would take a step closer while politely pointing out their poor manners. If they got close enough, they would deal some damage to the player. How it happens would be left to the imagination as they would cover the player's eyes first so they wouldn't have to see anything "indecent". I think there's an obvious theme of superficial kindness there. Also, one detail I forgot to show is that their teeth only show up from the front. If viewing them from the back, they can't be seen. A cute little effect, a bit sad I didn't show it. Oh, and fun fact, I realized while working on them that there is no string of words in the English language, or any other that I know of, that require the speaker to at any point clack their teeth together. None. So I intentionally had them do it as much as possible to really give off that "How do you do fellow human" vibe. - Soranaly I have a lot to say about since she's one of the main antagonists, but since I wanted to keep this short I will have to settle for saying little to nothing about her. Anything I WOULD say would be too lengthy or reveal too much, and I still haven't given up on the idea of getting back to work on the game at some point in the future. What I will say is that she was supposed to be considered to know everything that's unknown, one of her lesser titles being "Goddess of the Gaps". She would be able to answer any question anyone might have, and whether or not her answer is true is irrelevant. Because "As the ruler of the unknown, it is within her power to choose how it manifests when it becomes known". Essentially, her words alone would have the weight to make whatever she says SEEM true. So she would play a lot on the player's doubts and insecurities, because in that area her word is absolute. Giving her the disconcerting ability to force the player to choose a specific dialogue option, among other things.

You will always be apart of my Minecraft childhood, finding endventures and looking forward to the next episode whenever it would come, reminds me of watching an anime nowadays, inspiring stuff for that time, I stopping keeping up with you for a long time but I've always just been lurking, seeing updates every now and then, over that time I've been making video's of mine own, reason I mention this is because the feeling of making content, managing creative energy and criticism, are all feelings that I feel can't be replicated outside of it's media, The way you described your depression reminds me of what I was going through a couple months ago during school BUT less amplified in other ways, The one thing I can say for sure though is... Mental wall is Real. Thank you for the closure and I wish you well on your future endeavors and hope to see you again wherever that may be, in my adulthood.
