Great puzzle, and not too Aad 😂 The key question you missed around the 18 minute mark was to ask where 9 goes in row 5 or in column 9, which resolves things a lot more straightforwardly. Took me about 15 minutes, despite being awake at 3am with a lousy cold, so I'm quite happy with that!

After the first breakthrough, asking where the 9s go in columns 9 and 5 is a cleaner way to proceed.

This puzzle looks so straightforward, but I see a 30-minute video from you to solve it, Mark ... I will put it on the list. Every Aad puzzle deserves a try, for sure! Thanks for this video, a great pleasure, as always. (And I loved your expression, "over-egged a quite rich pudding"!!)

Lovely puzzle, 19:42 for me. I find that the King's Move rule felt very natural since I've been doing a lot of Star Battle/Queens lately.

I love how Aad's puzzles are really Aad's puzzles. There's a very elegant simplicity to them and it's very recognizable. Very lovely, not too diff❤❤

Very enjoyable and not too hard. As with all arrow/thermo puzzles, asking where 1s and 9s can go gets you quickly on the way after the initial break in.

An elegant well constructed puzzle, nice break in, especially if you remember the kings move constraint, and thoroughly enjoyable. Around the 32 minutes mark for me 😊

When column 7 was down to only a 1/9 possibility, if you would have seen the 1 had to go in row 1, because there was already a 9 in the row. you wouldn't have needed the coloring.

It took me 1:10:08 to finish, I had a lot of difficulty spotting the kings move restraind in combination with basic sudoku once I finished my arrows and thermo's.

at 6.50 he is talking about a triple in row 6, is it just me that is stupid ??? I can´t see it. is that a Y-wing or something ????

My logic for column 9 was completely different, I said if r8c9 was a 4, r5c9 would be a 5, and you need one of those to make a 7 or 8 arrow in r1c9, so the arrow must be 6, which then means the thermo must end 7-8-9 since there is no number lower than 4 available
@renedekker98062 сағат бұрын
Mine was even easier. There must be four 6789’s in column 9. The only places they can go at that point in the solve, is one in the arrow circle and the others on the thermo. Thinking about where 6788 go was fruitful in general in the beginning.
@alvaropalleteСағат бұрын
I just thought where could 9 go in column 9: not in the arrow bulb, and in thermos it could only go on the tips, so it's fixed. Then, where could 9 go in column 5: same logic, but now r6c5 is seen by the 9 in r6c9 found previously
