Aadat is an anthem of 90's Pakistani & Indian kids. Originally written by Goher Mumtaz, founder of the Band 'JAL'. JAL means water in Urdu. Atif was the poster boy/lead singer of the band jal and Aadat becomes truly magical in his angelic voice. Unfortunately they split up over petty differences. Bhanwarey is another original of Jal the band, the vocals of the chorus which are present in this video. This instrumental is a tribute to one of the greatest song that came out of Pakistan. Still is beloved by many, still an anthem for the nation.

The first part instrumental from a very famous song composed by Gohar whose band "Jal" got famous cz of that song it was originally sung by Atif Aslam who was the lead vocalist of the band at that time but Gohar composed most of the songs, Atif later left the band and go international fame and is probably one of the most famous, like and successful artist of South Asia i.e of billions of ppl and rightly so as he has just so unique and amazing vocals. Gohar who occasionally sings read first few lines from his song Aadat and later took song music to the direction of his latest album song Bhanwarey. You should check out more of songs specially Coke Studio I suggest listen to Atif Aslam, i recommend Jalpari by Atif Aslam one of his earlier songs from Coke Studio a famous show from Pakistan which is now running strong for 14 years and S14 is currently running and releasing songs every year with totally new vibe, this show is so successful that ahs been adopted by multiple countries inspired by Pakistani version. Also have subtitles for all songs (1st 6 seasons are at Rohail Hayyat Channel who was the original genius creator of the show and left after 6 seasons and only came back for S13 and left again)

Thank you for reacting to this! 😍🙌🏼 Wondering why I didn't see a notification on this🧐 So, some back story to the song "Aadat" which is played in instrumental here: So, Aadat is a name of a song, the is nostalgic for 90's kids in South Asia. This instrumental was a tribute to 15 years of that song. Goher Mumtaz wrote the lyrics for the song, and had a band called Jal (means water). Atif Aslam (a Pakistani singer, well known internationally) was in Jal before, but turned solo later. "Aadat" version sung by him, is what made his start of fame.
