Atif and Goher was initial line up of Jal. After aadat video came on screen, Atif and Goher split up, Atif persued solo carrier, jal new line up had Farhan (lead singer in this song) ,Goher ( in glasses and black guitar) and Shazi. This song is of new Jal line up. Atif also sang this song in his debut album. Mahesh Bhatt heard atif's lamhay and called him to India.

Jal the band is still active but are unable to produce big hits like Sajni Aadat Paanchi and amazing albums they made there was this rumor that Atif sold Woh Lamhey and Aadat to Bollywood and recorded the songs in the movie Kalyug and Zeher which led to the old members splitting Farhan left with right reasons that he wanted to do acting and solo career and he is doing it well
