those who don't know who is "Goher". He was dearest friend of Atif Aslam they have started their singing career together as a band which is named as "Jal Band" Farhan Saeed was also part of it but later on Atif Aslam split of from Jal band... thats why he is saying "Har Jaggah hai Jal" for his band...

Actullay Gohar Mumtaz and Atif Aslam both were compisers and writers of Aadat and some other in the beggining which is why bot had the rights of thise songs

For your information All of the songs in the jal band were originally written and composed by Goher Mumtaz including the legendary song like aadat and woh lamhe..you can say he was the main captain. Goher,Farhaan and atif originally made the jal band when they were in Lahore University in early 2000s. Atif was 1 year junior to them in the university. They decided Atif to become the lead singer of the band because his vocal ranges is way more than Goher. It is said then atif came to India without telling anyone in 2003-04 and re-created all the songs in Indian/bollywood version without Jal's consent(Jal's song was actually in urdu) . jal band protested against atif but atif soon became popular in india. Jal band took decision to kick atif from the band. Farhaan then automatically became the lead singer. In 2012 Farhaan also left the jal band for independent career.. now Goher is the only sole member in the jal band since then.. the real/original memeber of the jal. 🙂

OK so I was a hardcore follower of JAL the band back in the day as a kid aur wo audio cassettes Wala zamana tha and I know exactly their story and what happened to them. GOHAR was the man who created JAL the band where ATIF was the lead vocalist (and his friend) and ADAT was their first song which got popular on internet initially and later they made a video of it which was an instant hit on TV channels then atif left the band (they both had some disagreements) and started solo. Gohar found a guy(Farhan Saeed) singing adat at a university and took him in as a lead vocalist for the band, the 3rd guy sahzi (guitarist) also then joined the band. But the first album of JAL the band and Atif solo album had the same songs, where Farhan and gohar sung those for the band.
