In kannada language Gangapur is called Ganagapura (गानागापुर) and the station name is Ganagapura Road. In this sacred town , there is dam across River Bhima before it merges with Krishna and Bhima turns to North and northeast curve where Maratha Guru swami Dattareya did tapas there and his Brindavan on the banks of river bhima is there. The temple is called Sangama Swami Dattatreya temple. Dattatreya swami is worshiped in Shiva Vishnu Brahma in one statue in garbhagriha and temple is built in Dravida architecture by Rayala kings. thanks

Very good 👍🏻 Very informative vlog Truly qualifies the title A to Z info But you should have shown more of running in between station outside scene It was more of arrival and departure from stations Next time please add more footage of outside topography and even night time train sounds 😊

Right from the day of first run till it was changed to electric engine recently it was driven by Diesel loco.

In 1984 I travelled in Navjivan and all trains in Mumbai chennai route were running with WDM2 and other Diesel alco variants only

Bhor ghats tunnels view superb and also Ujani Dam biggest acress river bhima near Bhigwan . Really Udhyan and Chennai mail are better trains than 24 hrs for 1250 kms distance ie Egmore to CSMT SF with average speed of 48 the slowest of 4 daily roadies and Udhyan in Guntakkal to Mumbai stretch. These trains are designed run 110 plus only between Daund to Solapur and some stretch inside mumbai megapoli stations. Thank god SUR Bhigwan line doubled and otherwise these epic crawl trains are killers of our sense. thanks

This was our first direct train from Bengalore to Mumbai. This connected Kalaburgi/ Yadgir/ Raichur directly by broad gauge train. I don’t understand logic of not providing Pantry in this train even though it takes 24hrs long journey. This train takes more time for the same distance covered by Mumbai-Delhi train. Now after doubling and electrification they speed up. ( little speed up done not sufficient). Problem is with train takes unnecessary circuitous route to reach same place during the journey- for that hardly any passengers.

pantry car is not there because it has rake sharing with siddeshwar express that train is overnight train & have lot of demand too so in order to keep it more on revenue front & having the rsa with that train the officials i think have never introduced PC in this train

@ When 12 to 14 hrs journey train have pantry, why not 20 to 24 hrs journey time Udyan. Even after 4 decades not found solution. IR charges same fare with or without pantry. But provide pantry to North Indian trains. If your aim is revenue stop all passenger trains in North India run only for ticketless travellers.

@ IR need to analysis how many trains they run between Mumbai to Delhi, to Jaipur, to Ahmedabad, Lucknow/Varnashi/ Patna/Kolcutta/ Chennai/Hyderabad/Trivendram ( including Konkan route ) vis-à-vis to Bengalore. IR is for India for for all except Bengalure/Karnataka? It is shame on IR for not introducing more direct train to Bengalore from Mumbai.
