I am just learning about Islam and I heard that Prophet (SAW) married Aisha (RA) when she was 6 I started feeling bad and was on the verge of tears. Because for a religion that advocate marriage can only take place between two consenting "adults" , marriage at 6 scared me. So I came running to KZbin because I remembered seeing this video in my recommendation. Half way into the video, I can already feel myself calming down.

Alhamdulillah. Its was normal for everyone in that time even the enemy of our prophet (SAW) never used it. It was normal and there is a video where im not sure how old there are but they are so young and already married and its not thousand years ago but in this modern day and age Its just that the kids there mature faster because of life struggle and responsibility.

Though I am well afar from being a devout practicing Muslim, the episodes of this series manage to tether me to the peacefulness and serenity incepted within Islam. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Omar Suleiman for his incessant efforts in curating the mind-mending doctrine of the religion in such a societally contemporaneous and eloquent storytelling!! ربنا يوفقك لكل ما فيه خير:)

Assalamu-alaykum, dear brother in Islam! What a beautiful story about our Mother - the Mother of All who Believed in Allah Azza wa Jall and His Rasul SallaAllahu Alayhi Wassallam - Ai’shah, May Allah be Pleased with Her! I pray so that all of us be honorable neighbors to her household in Jannat al-Firdaws and arrange mutual visits as Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala’s rightly-granted dwellers of Jannah ! Allahumma Ameen! It sounds like a relaxing routine, doesn’t it? It’s interesting to think about how we all dream of the simple, peaceful life sometimes, but there’s also something fascinating about those moments where we are challenged to do more. What do you think makes us yearn for such simplicity? Could it be a desire to escape the pressures of the world, or is there more to it, like the need to reconnect with ourselves? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Great lecture Sheikh Omar. At 1:08:23 about the two black things- dates and water. In nomadic traditions, "black water" means ordinary clean water that has not been tinted with milk. Tinting water with milk is a sign of honor. It's still done today by nomadic communities in East Africa and most likely in Arabia. " Black water" doesn't mean dirty water.
