Though I do feel that Virat had below average run between 2020-2022 in test cricket and also the fact that he has immensely under-achieved in test cricket but unlike what people try to portray that he was just totally flop during that period, reality is he was consistently getting 30s, 50s, 60s and 70s and only had one disastrous series in New Zealand 2020 and 3 failures in Bangladesh 2022.
