The actress that you saw in this song was not Karisma Kapoor, but Shabana Raza. When Shabana made her debut in movies, she was asked to change her name to Neha, which was also her character's name in her debut film 'Kareeb'. For some stupid reason, directors/producers believe that actors should keep a name that is easier for the audiences to remember/like, so they end up forcing actors/actresses to change their name if it's not to their (filmmakers) liking. After getting married to Manoj Bajpayee, Shabana Raza (Neha) quit acting (the reasons of which are still not known), and changed her name back to her original name, that is Shabana Raza. You couldn't find 'Neha' on the IMDB page of 'FIZA' because the actress is listed as Shabana Raza. Her name was reverted back to Shabana Raza on IMDB as well after she changed it in her real life.

1st- technically this was Hrittik's 1st film, but they held the release so his debute cud b the block bustr 'KAHO NA PYAR HAI'. 2nd- Karishma played the lead as sister of Hrittik. 3rd- both Hrittik n Karishma did an amazing job,also Jaya bacchan did a great job. 4th- Neha played Hrittik's girl friend,she is Manoj's wife in real life. 5th- Manoj had a small but memorable role in this. Inn xutiyo ko abhi ki movies smjh nhi aati , aaj se 20 saal purani ghnata smjh aayegi ... 😛 Secondly it was not Hrithik's first film but he signed this movie before KNPH and his role was very short (extended cameo) but after blockbuster success of KNPH , producers and director increased his role. No one was ready to buy music rights of this film in 10 lakhs but after success of KNPH , music rights were sold in record 60 lakh that time.

7:23 this scene was shot just before Hrithik's first movie was released (Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, January 2000). Famously the director stated that it would have been impossible to shoot it the way they did if KNPH had already been released. Also: that is Neha Sharma in the video. Why is it so confusing? If her name is written right there?? And finally, this film is a MUST-WATCH. It contains the best performance of Karisma Kapoor and Jaya Bachchan. And as Hrithik's second movie, it's also one of his best performances.
