I swear when she passed I stopped being a kid. I lost all but 2 of my childhood heroes at the time. I was still a kid myself born in 95. Chuck from death dying, Tupac, finding out Kurt Cobain was dead that whole time, then Aaliyah… and it was right around my birthday and when Queen of the Damned was about to come out.
