She was sweet and kind but calling a human an angel is misleading and unbiblical. Angelic beings were created by God to serve as messengers. Satan was a fallen Angel. Angelic beings are nothing like what we interpret in the movies and books. They are powerful and the Bible describes them as frightening to humans. When they appeared to humans the first thing they say is “Do not fear”. Angelic beings are obedient to God’s Word and are warriors against the fallen angels like Satan. The Bible warns us not to worship angels or idols like celebrities.

For an African American woman, in 2000 still in her early 20s! to be doing this....there was no other singer doing it like aaliyah. This moment was almost like Whitney back in the body guard era. Even in 2022....this is still a HUGE deal. What black singer do we know in 2022 is starring in a major film??? Aaliyah DESERVES a hollywood star

😭I know exactly what you mean cause that hit me right in the stomach, life pre 9/11 grandparents were all alive, my favorite aunts uncles, were alive, family was tighter, i had friends, i had things to look forward to, TV, movies, everything in general was great😤 😢after she passed 9/11 happened, and though i admit the early mid and late 2000s werent bad , it still feels like a steep decline. NOW in the 2020s I dont know about you but life just aint the same. its like pre 9/11 pre aaliyah death we were promised a future that cease to exist.

That movie is a classic! Love everything about it. The filming location, the fabulous soundtrack, the fight scenes (and I totally agree with Aaliyah, that iconic scene with Jet Li was for sure one of the hottest scenes) and last but not least Aaliyah‘s outstanding performance as an actress. My favorite was the authentic scene were she (Trish O’day) spoke about her late brother. Her tears were so real. Speaking of siblings, I love the relationship between Rashad & her. Damn I truly wished we could’ve had plenty more movies with her, but God must have had bigger plans for her! R.I.P. to a truly multitalented and timeless beauty 🕊

I had to comment a second time. You could tell just how prominent Aaliyah’s energy was in the entertainment industry. Everybody admired her. She had this presence that was just so striking when she entered a room or an event and she stood out like no other. Is it just me or does anybody else think the direction of where the world would be today would be in a much better place had she lived?

I read your comment the first one felt like you touched on so many great points I myself felt the same way. She’s the LIGHT.. a pure example of Life. something tells me she had to know, what she was doing.. 🤔She was ascending onto something much greater … always being so mysterious. “Street but sweet” How did she not know? She’s Amazing! look at her 😵‍💫🤤🫠🥴🥵🤯😳😨😰🥹😍I MEAN .. WOW 🤩😮 what we’re you learning in Australia during the vampire movie what did you focus your energy on? aside from music aside from acting what was it? Who are you? 🤔 these are all questions I have which now leads me to believe you achieved your highest goal, and that is permanent residence in our 🧠head/🫀heart Something that’s only God given.. also living organisms. R.I.P Queen , you wanna play the mystery game..? Okay baby girl I’ll play 🙏🏿💡🫀🧠🙃

Rip Aaliyah DMX Kobe and all who we've lost since the good times 😭 I cant believe the Dog and baby girl are gone gone. and worst of all i cant believe this is our future. I lost a cousin from covid, and theres been alot of recent deaths in my personal life, my god. For any young person whose reading my comment Please i plead to you NEVER take the good times for granted, and appreciate your loved ones. I didnt and live in regret so much. i wish i called my grandparents more, i wished i hung out with my friends more specific a friend who like aaliyah died in his early 20s back in 2018. ironically it was in march of 2000 where i remember my mom picking him up and going to the mall with him and playing arcade games all day. You guys dont know how bad i want to just jump in the screen to this video greet all these fine people, hug aaliyah give DMX a pound , grab a payphone and call my grandparents, then run home and see all my loved ones ... i hope this is a dream and i wake up pre 9/11. and for the record im not crazy depressed im doing pretty well for my self but its just so much loss this past 20s years. 😱 i wish i could magically capture this time period mid 90s - early 2000s and keep reliving over and over again...😢
