AALIYAH was So 90s. There are many artists you can't mention from the 1990s without mentioning AALIYAH. She was smart, naturally beautiful, with a great sense of humor. She was very articulate and down to earth. She passed on my birthday; it was the worst birthday I ever had. Aug 25th, 2001, I will never forget it. Every year since then I celebrate her legacy through her music on my birthday. It's been 24 years now, and it seems like yesterday that she was blessing us with her presence on MTV or on BET. She is definitely 1 in a Million! She had so much swag before swag was a thing. If AALIYAH was still with us Beyonce wouldn't be the only one on top. Although AAliyah was already more famous before Beyonce solo career took off. AALIYAH WAS, IS and ALWAYS WILL BE THAT GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
