Nice bit of late braking at 5:40 and pass at 5:55! I love this video, brings back great personal memories, I can even get back that intoxicating and addictive smell of the two strokes in my mind. It is good for the soul to watch after some of those depressing trash videos involving bikes scattered around KZbin. Truly wonderful, thanks for uploading!

@@woeiurweo dankje andre maar Aalt is in zijn veld wel uniek, heb zelf met hem gesproken in 'T Zandt (Groningen). Hij had daar een nieuwe 50cc record machine staan (het is geen motor, wat dan wel) 🤣 Jan Thiel is echt een race motoren bouwer en Aalt meer een soort record breker/thrill seeker Jan is motor of draaibank geweest in een vorig leven en Aalt een vogel. 😆

Aalt Toersen, a legend. I saw him in early seventies at Francorchamps and the same guy road like a demon couple years ago at classic races in Holland. He's one of the greatest, takes no prisoners.

The Amazing Piston ... 10000 rpm X 2 = 20000 times piston goes up and down per minute.. ( tdc - bdc per revolution) 20000 / 60 (seconds in a minute) = 333.3 a second..... THE PISTON GOES UP AND DOWN 466 TIMES PER SECOND ????? - best part: the piston comes do a compleet dead stop twice per revolution. TDC & BTC...

+thiscocks They're slipping the clutch intentionally to keep the revs in the powerband, it's one of the necessary techniques for riding a 2 stroke fast.

+thiscocks Track is in Hengelo Gelderland (a small town in Holland) called de Varsselring. This is normaly an public road (that's why you see some houses at the track)

GreenZefa Owner kreidler / zundapp engine but they have a rotary valve and a lot of work put into them

Do not think that would be a good Thing to do - these 50cc kreidler engines has no torgue - they only work on revolutions and wont drive anywhere under 8.000 UMDREHUNGEN
