For me personally Finland and especially Lapland is still the last best strongholds of all the earth. So beautiful and innocent just as God created it.

I'm a self appointed Finniphile and everything that comes out of Finland just does something to me. Im scottish, I'm far from this place. I've never visited, but the music, the language, the atmosphere their art creates is cold and infinity beautiful. It's timeless, I adore Finland. Thank you for sharing this.

Your country is more moral than ours, don’t cry when we become an islamic state if you’re still alive when that happens. We don’t deserve to have it this easy. Hungary and Poland are the only EU countries to help persecuted Christians for example. Respect from Finland.

Hello muffin and I'm glad to hear you appreciate Finnish language. Please don't listen to arrow. Arrow is an religious extremist, as you can clearly see. They are thankfully rare here. Anyone who has "completely blind faith" in dogmatic religion is pretty much considered mentally ill, even by registered Lutherans who know better than to think the Bible is 100% true. We all want Freedom from Religion, as well as have freedom to have religion if you like without putting it on others. Islam and all mainstream forms of Christianity both lead to evil social consequences if they are taken out of the context of pure individual faith and are allowed to affect politics, and this eventually leads to attacks on normal citizens by other citizens who have been brainwashed by it. Cults like mormonism can be even worse, but let's not get too much into that craziness. Nordics are peaceful because we don't allow religion to dictate anything important, and we never should.

Duh Ni kiitos, but I think I’ll still try and learn a few helpful phrases and plus it’s just such a beautiful language. There I heard as my darling played a song gently singing to someone else. There I heard as my darling played a song gently singing to someone else. It's difficult to explain the whole song, but mostly it's about a woman, who is forsaken by her loved one.

Your last name is German though, so you most likely also have German in your heritage^^ (Klein is a typical last name here, it means 'small/little')

well.. Many 'muricans have finnish blood.. We did travel after dream of gold there and many, many stayed. Nothing to be surprised about If one knows even a tiny bit of history. I'd be surprised if a native fin had american blood. We don't wanna mix with your kin nowadays. I think it's something to do with the IQ levels

This is such a sad song. I had something similar to me when I was 19 years old. It wasn't just unrequited love or I'm going, it was more like, "How dare you." I was naive. From the song: Riemuiten annoin mä sieluni sulle Miksi sitä et huolinutkaan? Y I K E S ! Very sad song and love is not always a good thing.

I'm ashamed to find one more song from Sibelius that I haven't heard (I'm finnish) First thing that came in my mind was a morning after the news of fallen loved one in 1939-1945

I’m looking for a Finnish song that somebody once showed me, I can’t find it. I believe it talked about death, or love I do t remember. She told me it was a famous song among the Finns. I remember the KZbin video showed swans. I really don’t know if the song talked about swans. I’ve searched Finnish swan song but that is not it. Pls help!
