Thank you for the appreciation Sanket, so if you want to explore backwaters then shikara is better and if you want experience staying in houseboat with bit of backwaters, houseboat experience is only limited to staying in houseboat,shikara will take you to small lanes of backwaters but houseboat take you through big lanes.

Hi @kavita04singh 10k is way too much for a houseboat experience but if you are only interested for n backwater go for shikara, if you want to experience houseboat then look it in this way: Hotel for 1 night-2000/- Shikara-around 2000/- 3 meal for 2 person-around 2000/- So if you get houseboat for 7k then it’s fine otherwise go for shikhara. You can call Jayan i have provided the number in the video for shikara as well as for houseboat.

Depends on the houseboat and the season, the price is for whole boat but yes they will not allow 5 people in single room. You have to go for 2 bedrooms houseboat and for more details you can call on number provided in description.

It’s on you what you want to do, both can accommodate family and good, rates keep on changing between 500-1000/- depending on the season and rates is for the whole boat.
