Nice that all nicknames were Aang friends or people he could trust. Firebenders would be hard to name if Zuko died before the league. Well Bumi used the Neutral Jing, waited and attack. The world is saved and Sokka is proud

Yes! I was trying to go for all the nicknames being one of Aangs bending masters (why I picked the name Jeong Jeong instead of Iroh or Azula) but I caught a few more pokemon than bending masters (why I included Yangchen and Bumi)

Although, I'm not a huge fan of Avatar at all and I totally respect the show as it is, I love how you made all of those nicknames after characters from the show and I can tell that you love doing that. This was awesome! If you do this again, but add Legend of Korra elements and subtypes, you can add a Steel, Ice, Electric for Metal bending, Freezing, and Lightning bending! You could also use Rock since we see people bend those all the time and maybe Psychic to account for the spiritual aspect of bending

This was such a creative and awesome nuzlocke! My current team in Pokémon Crystal is actually named after Avatar characters. I have Zuko the Typhlosion, Mae the Crobat and Kuruk the Lapras along side Paku the Red Gyarados (not using) and Katara the Suicune (not using). And I gotta say I love ur narration! There’s just lots of funny moments especially from when you show reactions to Pokémon dying and you’re like “shit, oh shit.” Definitely great entertainment value! Keep up the great work! ^_^

I still call BS on Drake's Altaria surviving that Dragon Claw. I know Dragon Dance had no effect on it, but to get a low damage roll immediately after a high roll like that... That's some shenanigans! This was an amazing run tho!

All dragon moves are special in gen 3 and dragon dance boost physical attack so dragon claw dident get boosted power from d dance.

Definitely quite a tense run, I bet. I do think Rock and Ice types could have also worked as members as well, even if you only stayed as a four mon team, since rocks and ice are commonly used traits alongside ground and water in their respective bending styles, as opposed to things like Electric and Steel, which are rarer subsets.

Maybe! People have asked me to do one that includes electric and metal for lightning and metal bending, I think Korra works well with that since it becomes more common then! Maybe include ice as well since that's a subset of water

if you consider that you could also use ice, electric, steel, rock and ghost types there could be more pokemon than just 4 xD i mean...ice=water benders use it, electric= fire, steel and rock because earth benders can do them too, even though steel is a bit harder and only few can bend it...and ghost because the avatar is linked to the spirit realm still a cool concept^^

The reason Altair’s went down is because the physical/special split didn’t come until gen 4. Since Dragon was considered special it didn’t get the boost from the dragon dances. Fly probably would have killed. But you live and you learn

Tip I should use rock instead of ground for earth that’s my opinion but u can do whatever u want!
