AAP legislator flagged for attending alleged "mass conversion" event in Delhi | MOJO STORY

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator's participation in an alleged mass conversion event to Buddhism triggered a political row on Friday . It is said that, around 10,000 people reportedly took vows to give up worship of Hindu deities and convert to Buddhism to follow Lord Buddha's teachings.

The legislator is human first, a citizen next and a legislator after that. What if he had gone to a graveyard in the thick of night to attend a Tantric ritual - it is his fundamental right. There is nothing in the lawbooks that proscribe his attendance. MK Gandhi's entire Ahimsa philosophy was influenced by teachings of Mahaveera, Buddha and yes Jesus of Nazareth. So what is this hulla-balloe about a few people saying they will not worship a pantheon of some mythical gods, but wish to follow the Dhammapada? If indeed the BJP has demanded that the legislator be fired .... it speaks volumes about its own bigotry.

True he has right to do this. But hindus will not vote for someone anti hindu. If I say you belong to a bad caste or religion would you still vote for me. I've listened to their complete speech such a poisonous mind they have. Dare convert muslims in Pakistan and then come back here you'll know what bigotry is

And that ahimsa philosophy led to the partition of india and creation of an islamic country where the hindus(mostly dalits) ,buddhists etc have no rights . Guess the place where they have rights even the tamil hindus(mostly dalits ) were persecuted by the buddhists in sri lanka.
