He's got the right wheels for an AAR. Minilite racing wheels, just like the ones that Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones, Mark Donahue and the rest of the All American Racing teams ran. Great looking Cuda!
@panfilojohnson57916 жыл бұрын
This car is gorgeous, and way better looking than a modern challenger, but what surprises me more about it, is that this appears in results for "408 stroker cuda"

owned a 70 AAR black on black on black, 4-speed. New off the truck. Never even made it to the showroom. And yes, wicked. Ran like a scalded cat. Casualty of divorce.....

My buddy had the exact car same color. Fyi that red was a AAR 'CUDA Color only. That car was a badass on the strip in FLL. In the late 70's early 80's. Goodtimes as a teen my friend's..... Goodtimes indeed!

The '70 AAR 'cuda is my ultimate bucket list car to own, I've owned a '69 Formula S 340, a '73 340 Barracuda and now have a '72 340 'cuda. Would love to get my grubby hands on an Double A R 'cuda!!! Or better yet find a 1970 Convertible Barracuda, then put a 340 6 barrel, with the AAR hood, front and rear spoilers, body decals then that'll be the ultimate AAR!
@animalyze7120 Жыл бұрын
The AAR is cool but mostly a trim package and smaller engine option for their Can am team to be legal. I'd take my Uncles 70 426 cuda over the AAR and just do some trim upgrades to look similar. The AAR had the advantage of looking like a race car and many Hemi owners had their cars painted and decked out this way which is why their are quite a few clones out there.

@@animalyze7120 I owned a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner with a 383, and my folks had a 1971 Satellite Sebring with a 318, the Satellite handled far better than the big block car on mountain roads but on the open highway the Road Chicken was awesome! Also I've owned 3 340 cars, 69 Formula S, 72 'cuda & a 73 340 Barracuda (vin started with BH not BS) and the 73 was a street strip car, she had 11.5 quarter mile times @ 121.7 mph with a Edward Hamburger engineered 340 (more likely a 375) with over 600 bhp on the Dyno, this was way back in 1982 to 1987, and this car gave all big block cars a run for their money at the track, kicked them in the butt off the line but lost her wind at the traps. Big blocks are great if your into them but I rather have my LA Blocks.

I went to Florida for couple years. My brother lost damn mind traded 70 cuda 340 for Honda 350 an 200 bucks. I begged my mom to buy car sell to me I would fly back within fee days. Well my older brother always hated me. Only time I was any good was when he was getting picked on an I chased them off. Good reason to hate me I suppose. Have great life. I love them old cars

Got some grumpy ford and chevy fans, trying to put down all Mopar... but this one . Lol. That is hilarious. This is called Mopar envy. Listen...have a good cry, get it out of your systen , ...then come on over to the team that always comes out on top. ... Mopar Baby , Ya ! A 1971 Convertible HemiCuda went to auction recently and sold for 3.5 Million !!! So bring your wife's purse along with your cheque book, and we will welcome you with open arms. Everyone makes an occasional mistake along life's highway. Imagine how good you are going to look in your 1969 Dodge Dart GTS 383 4bbl. Metalic British racing green with black interior, buckets & console. GTS bum stripe . Or maybe you'd like a big bad Roadrunner with a 440 6 pack air grabber in Plum Crazy Purple and a MeepMeep horn , deciding where you are going as you feel that unbelievable, pistol grip shifter slide into first gear ! This is the rest of your life, starting with a ROAR as you fly by a mousetang and wave byebye. And your grimmace is now a huge smile !!!! Yay !!! 👍😋
