Not sure how this hasn't stumbled on to my recommendations before, but wow and I so pleased it just has today. I can honestly say that is one of the best fly fishing movies I have ever watched. Truly inspirational, I found the footage of the Sail Fish really moving it is such an accomplishment. Thanks for sharing and Tite Lines G

As an amateur fly fishing film maker, I take so much inspiration from the quality of this video. The opening scene transition is just sublime and just makes you feel immersed in the movie from the word go. It is outstanding and I can't stop watching it. Quick question. How much of the fishing scenes if any were done from Alphonse itself in terms of close proximity to the "camp" if you call the accommodation there a "camp" :) thanks again for sharing!

Hi there, could not agree more, this is one of the best openings to any fishing movie we have ever seen… as far as I can tell all the fishing scenes are done on St Francois rather than Alphonse. This is how this operation works, accommodation on Alphonse and then fishing on St Francois with a boat transfer every morning and evening. There is fishing around Alphonse itself but if you book a rod there you will be fishing St Francois…

Awesome, one day, one day…Who sings the song at the end? Name of song?

Amazing how many beautiful parts of the world there is, nature is spectacular and brutal at the same time. Then we humans come along and purely for our selfish gratification we disrupt and eventually destroy it!! I fish myself but I've always wondered if I truly appreciated the fish , is it necessary to hook it in the first place?

Outstanding video! Hats off to all involved. However, if I spent a boatload of money to travel halfway around the world to fight a fish-of-a-lifetime for nearly two hours only to watch a guide use a trout net to try and scoop up my meter-long milkfish....well....(eye roll)….at least it ended well for the angler in the video. Regardless, top-notch video (two thumbs up)!
