Thank you for this video! I live in New Zealand and have wanted one for a long while. All the other packs I've tried are so stiff and bulky, and never fit my short torso. I tried this Featherlite Freedom out today and LOVED it.....will probably go back tomorrow and buy :) Super helpful to see all of the details on this video - thanks again!

Internal waterproofing has a short shelf life. You're going to poke holes in it with your stuff as you try to pack it all in. Don't bother. Be Prepared to use disposable waterproof bags like contractor bags. BTW...you should always have at least 3 on you. I do like the front sport pockets.

You may be right. In six years it’s still holding up though. I only pack hammock, rain fly, sleeping bag, and clothes in the. Ack though, so nothing sharp… I use contractor bags in other backpacking bags though and I agree, they work well.
