Rice has been struggling quite a bit at the plate. I believe that the fact that Boone f u k k e d him up so much has a little bit to do with it. Having said that, I'd take him over Rizzo who approaches batting as if it was batting practice and doesn't adjust in the off-season, during the season, between games, between at bats, between pitches, and during a pitch, etc.
