Soft ump, and really could've handled this better. He had to toss Boone for arguing balls and strikes, but his arrogant and dismissive attitude absolutely escalated the situation here. That seemed to get Boone fired up more than the missed calls did.

Are you serious? One is paid money to manage and one is paid money to call proper strikes and balls. Managers need to put pressure on the umpires when they make costly mistakes that could change the trajectory of the entire game.
