Jack Campbell was playing out of position on the outside until the end of the year. He played good to great in the middle when he started getting time. This year he makes a jump.

I think If Jack Campbell is able to take over that defense and play to his potential getting a pro bowl nod is very possible next season maybe even a 2nd team possible 1st team all pro selection in another 2-3 years. It’s especially possible considering that on his RAS score he ranked 6th Best out 2600 linebackers ever drafted since 1987 with a 9.98/10 for linebackers. When you take that in consideration it makes sense why Brad Holmes dumped the whole positional Value sheet in the trash to get Jack Campbell at 18

So Jack played all year under team supervision and seemed to stutter. The off-season comes and he made huge strides? It seems like he might be better with no coaching. It's all coach speak.

It's all coach speak. Its not like these players are away from the game for a year. It's only a few months.

With the high amount of draft picks that Brad Holmes has gotten for the defense. There better be a huge jump for the defense. No more only 41 sacks and other teams getting over 400 yards per game the rubber going to meet the road this year. No more excuses

Brent. From week 6 to week 15 Aidan Hutchinson had 2 sacks. How is that, in any way, Glenn’s fault? This is what Hutchinson was going back to Michigan. If Hutchinson had 5 more sacks over that 9 week period, the team total would have been 46. That would have been tied right around the middle of the league. Please do some research if you’re going to post so much. It’s not the scheme. It’s the guy they picked to be their lead dog.

Campbell is just not very good yet. I think we can all accept that. He was the best LB in a bad group of draftable players. He will grown, but like RB, LB is one of very few plug and play positions on defense. It’s never good to see your lead LB getting carried 5 yards after contact.
