Wayne Chrebet already said he plans on being first in line to request a job to help this organization win a Super Bowl. We already know that Nick Mangold made the same offer to Rob Salah and Joe Douglas and was ignored. We can only hope that Aaron Glenn is successful in this venture, but having coaches that love this organization and used to play for this organization is definitely something new and special. You have people who are truly invested in winning because they wanted that Super Bowl ring when they were playing, but they didn’t get it, but they still have a chance to get it now as a coach which would be so much more to wear a ring that says Super Bowl world, champion New York Jets. Teams like New England build culture by bringing back older players and keeping them involved in the organization to coach and to teach “The Patriots Way”. Winning franchises have history, and traditions, built on honesty and trust, hard work and camaraderie. It’s been far too long since the New York Jets have acted like a family. Hopefully Glenn can bring that back to this organization. Vrabel will have his guys and Glenn will have his. and I’m looking forward to renewing a rivalry that I’ve been watching since the 1970s

Westoff is a great special teams coach.. you’re right he should’ve been given a chance to be a head coach if he wanted it. Something tells me he didn’t want that hassle. I think he enjoyed being just where he was at and being celebrated for what he did very very well.

Woody likes to meddle also the first time HC has no bad track record so all you have is the tantalizing promise of potential. It's like drafting a rookie QB.

If the Jets want to be successful this season, they bring Aaron Rodgers back because there are no other QBs in the draft or Free agency that can win you many games. It also saves you from having to find another WR because youknow DA is coming back. That opens up so many options for you in the draft. This way you’re not forced to take a Tet McMillan if all the Defensive players are gone. That would allow us to trade back to 10 through 15 Garner another 2nd or 3rd round draft pick, which could lead to a WR like Savion Williams and a DT like Omar Nolan and a TE like Copeland Loveland.

Glenn won't be a "fan boy" coach like Saleh. He will confront guys who are not playing up to a standard and committing stupid penalties. His defense will be agressive and he won't stick to a predictable scheme the way Saleh did.
