I live in the same city as Aaron and see him on the local trails periodically. Always a treat to hear his hub as he's flying by like a runaway train. The chainless win teaches some life lessons that go beyond the bike.

Aaron Gwin seems like a chill, down to earth guy. Saw bunch of fans asking to take pictures and the dude posed over a hundred times in 15 minutes or so. Inspiring to see one the GREAT was originally from SoCal.

Great work Clay Porter as always and looking forward to what you come up with in the remaining three episodes. Aaron, having met you at Mont-Sainte-Anne in 2017 and watching that incredible race, you are a real down to earth dude. What is cool is that even though there is 20+ years between us, you were awesome to me in my excitement in talking to you. It is crazy how BMX is the gateway drug to mountain biking. I raced BMX in the 80's, and hen back at it in 1996 at 30. Broke my collarbone twice in a year. I didn't ride a bike from 1999-2015. Starting mountain biking and it has been awesome. Two Red Bull Fox Hunt's in Ireland in 2017 and 2018. I love it. Watching you race at Mont-Sainte-Anne has been awesome. I was so looking forward to it again this year. I wish you luck in whatever races you get to do. All the best, BostonDon

Bro, being newish to the sport and crossing paths with you a few time so far, mad respect for you, from your riding to the way you present yourself with fans young and older. When I came across you at my first race in southridge, I had no idea who you were other than some pro and that my friends kids were mad excited you were there. Had you sign some stickers which I thank you for because it made their day. If you want any more Single-track🍔 King stickers I have some left, I'll be sure to bring them whenever I'm in your area of riding in case we cross paths again. Great video 👌, looking forward to the next.

Brilliant Vid Clay.... Aaron's state of mind is what has him where he is today.... life is a delicate balance, being honest with yourself is the glue that keeps it all together..... getting out of bed and approciating there are not only 60 minutes in an hour, rather 60 seconds in a minute! An inspiring human being which proves that in one person, there is all of humanity! Keep looking for your highest uphills Aaron... that's there the biggest downhills are!
