You don't see the Vikes making any stupid or lack of discipline errors. They make execution errors, and mistakes under pressure, but no bone-headed stuff - that's coaching and character, and can be the difference between winning and losing. Remember when the Cards lost the SB because one of Larry Fitzgerald's team mates blocked him in the white stripe and stopped him making a crucial, potentially game winning tackle? One players self-importance and lack of discipline cost the whole team a chip.

The disrespect by the media is a real thing. They might now be talking about the Vikings but most of the talking heads still favor whatever team they are playing. In the last 3 games alone the Seahawks were favored, then the Packers were favored, and now the Lions are favored. The same disrespect has been attributed to Sam Darnold as well. Everyone talks about, Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson, and even Barkley, Mayfield, and Henry as possible MVP’s, but nobody talks about Sam Darnold, and they all dismiss him as an anomaly!

I think that is a formality, because he will nearly be free against the 2025 cap. He has 3 void years on his current deal will be deferred and offset $2.4m from the 2025 cap.
