That was a great homer. Aaron Judge is awesome and I am a big Yankee's fan. That being said, how did baseball change so much in the last 30 years? When your team is winning by all means do that dance with each of your teammates. The extended run and high five's. When you hit a homer and your team is still losing 8-3, what are you celebrating? Its a team game. I don't remember Don Mattingly ever doing this.

Everyone loses about half the time to the best teams. Remember, in baseball, the best teams are separated by one percent in performance or less. The best teams hope to go .500 against other good teams, and then 2 out of 3 or better vs the mediocre teams. That way you get .600 plus winning percentage (around 100 wins). There's no 'exposing weaknesses' magically here, that is nonsense.

So you know how Ohtani is leading the NL in homers and is probably the runaway NL MVP? His OPS+ is 181. That is INCREDIBLY good. That means he is 81% better than the average hitter. Judge's OPS+? 215. Meaning you would not only need more than 2 major league players the produce at at least an average level to match his production. Judge this year has been 34% better than the second best player in baseball. Not only that... he has also been better than his 2022 season where he hit 62 homeruns. You are watching one of the greatest hitters (and players) this sport has ever seen. Enjoy it.
