Yanks pitchers lead AL in hitting batters, O's pitchers are second to last in AL. O's have been hit twice as often by Yanks pitchers this season than Yanks have been hit by O's. Judge gets hit then they all start to whine. O's showed the world today who the REAL bully of AL East is. O's are not gonna WHINE about it when they get hit, they're gonna let their bats do the talking. Yanks should be more worried about their division record which is 10-12 than retaliating when they get hit.

@@HittinyaWitDaTruth MASN had a run down of all the HBP stats between the two teams before last night game. Yanks pitchers had hit 40 batters to lead AL before last night game. They've hit about a half dozen O's hitters since so I'm sure they still lead AL in that department by a wider margin. Actually after today's game it's 9-3 Yanks, Yanks pitchers have hit O's hitters 9 times so far this season.

It’s hard to win when you’re down by 6 runs in the second inning and then the bullpen can’t keep it at that. Makes yesterday, a game that they should’ve won, an even tougher loss. May was a really good month for the Yankees and June has been rough so hopefully they get going again and play better in the next series. Yankees are still a good team and it’s only like halfway into the season so there’s still a lot of games to play, better to know what this team needs to improve now instead of seeing all the flaws in October. A positive is that it’s great news that Judge is okay and now Cole is back in the rotation

Orioles fan here - the best teams lose big on occasion, it happens, that is just baseball. Having a winning team year after year speaks volumes on management, but they still cannot play for them. Best wishes, Yankee fans, enjoy your summer.

The O's are 24 and 10 vs teams above .500, far and away the best in the majors. They really bring it against good teams. They need to start putting away the lesser teams the way the Yankees and Phillies do. They need to win the division and have homefield in the playoffs because, with their lefty-strong lineup, Camden Yards is a serious advantage.
