I did my first ever ollie today!!!! I learned quicker then expected. Its my 3rd week skating, and I only go out maybe twice a week. Now I just have to practice getting the back wheels higher.

Once Aaron saw himself do it on Uzi's phone he realized "why am I bailing?" and he knew if he went for it he would get it. The only reason it took so long was a huge mental block. I feel like almost 70% of skating is just a mental battle and it's really interesting to see how other progress and over come it. Great job Aaron keep killing it!

To me it's super fascinating to take a person who is 37 years old, (I've been skateboarding for 27 years) to take a person who has been skateboarding Street for 27 years and just throw them in the vert ramp. Watching all of you skate the vert ramp is SO fun! i can't stop smiling when Aaron is riding the ramp, and watching him battle that tail stall reminded me of skating ramps with my friends when we were younger. JD is an awesome part of the crew too, i love what he is bringing to the videos. I've been a longtime downhill and bowl skater this year I'm making it my goal to switch to street. I'm 27 and this year its my goal to make it through skateboarding made simple vol 1 its a challenge but everyday feel more and more comfortable with the flatground stuff and its insanely fun to learn something from scratch. I feel you Aaron its hard to start over when you've been skating for so long. Keep it up. I'm even tempted put my tricks up on you tube but no one wants to see that.

Aaron is amazing when it comes to overcome a mental barrier. He just accepted that there is one and immediately succeeded. This is a great trait. I usually only overcome these situations after days or even weeks of persistantly forcing myself to go on and on and on. Sure, Eventually it works but I wish I could be more efficient in this department.
