“Forgot what it’s like to feel good in my skin” hits pretty hard. I think we all wish we could be better people and improve ourselves in some way. The difference between most people however is those that try to be better, and those that just accept their fate. I hope we all try to be better people and endeavor to feel good in our own skin. God bless you Aaron.

Sad songs have always hit me the hardest in a good way, makes me feel alive. I usually struggle to feel anything most days of my life (just the way I'm wired), I just start every day ready to have a good day, and don't sweat the little things. Dear Aaron Lewis, it's me Pamela Burks, we talked awhile ago about your Jackson Show in California years back, that we had driven 700 miles to see you, and my Husband got a meet and greet with you, and my Husband also spent 4th of July with you last year at the Texas Concert when the storm came in. I am so happy you heard me when I asked for a concert closeby to where I live in Oregon. I cannot travel long distance anymore because I have been diagnosed with 2 types of Kidney Disease, 1 is Incurable, and I just can't travel far anymore. I will be seeing you on June 12 in Oregon, you will be 17 miles from me, Thank You! You pulled my Son and Myself out of very dark times in our lives, and I Thank You! My Son couldn't make it to Jackson, but he will be there on the 12th of June in Redmond. Thank You for coming to Oregon, seeing you in person was on my bucket list, but 1 time just wasn't enough!(and the crowd was so rowdy, I was up front in Jackson with the drunken dude that wouldnt shut the hell up!) Thank You American Patriot, my Family Loves your Words, Voice, and Music. I am going to be counting down the days until June 12th!❤ If I could request a special song, I would like to hear you sing the song I want played at my Memorial "This is it, I say Goodbye, to this Ever Changing Chapter of my Life, the Road was long, just one more song(for me please?) I couldn't tell you the story of my life, but the ones that know would want me to get this Wish. I hope so! Safe Travels on Your Tour, see ya in June!

His music is deep, his language is rough and his politics are unmistakable and he smoked like he was getting a thousand bucks a cig (lol) but I absolutely LOVED it! Remember music is the greatest tool to know yourself and you should feel whole, sad, happy and healed when it’s over because it’s confirmation that you have company in your pain and better days are ahead !
