As for the Dixie flag, the flag flown by those that denounced their American citizenship and attacked there fellow Americans for not getting their way. The war was started by individuals that were upset that their candidate did not win the election, so they started to plot to overthrow the government and install their candidate anyway. Sound familiar? Now if you want to fly a flag flown by traitors, then go ahead; but don't be a flake and get in your feelings when people call you out for the message you are sending. Since by the Constitution, people that fly a flag of an enemy of the United States are declaring their intent to denounce their citizenship and forfeit the rights and freedoms of an American citizen. So in actually, you fly that flag and get treated like crap, that's due to the decisions you made and the repercussions of those decisions. The "Dixie" flag isn't a flag of being a rebel, it is a flag of Anti-American Authoritarianism by a defeated group of people that begged on their knees to be allowed to be given their American citizenship back and allowed to exercise the rights and freedoms they so proudly gave up for a selfish immoral practice of owning other human beings. I'm a vet from maine that was one of the first to cross the border in 03 I did 13 years in 2 different branches I have been diagnosed with PTSD I absolutely love this song and my wife convinced me to do a 22 mile ruck march this year on veterans day that I have wanted to do for many years. I can promise you that this song will be playing the entire time and tears will be flowing I could only hope that you could perform this song at the finish line and hang out for a bbq
