Couldn't agree more with several other comments here ... Hazel is a total pain in the ass and not a pleasant character to watch or listen too ... and unfortunately she never gets any better. I don't know why the producers of shows like this think that we should like over-the-top obnoxious characters like her. The only reason I watched this episode is because of Aaron, the faces he makes and his comments are priceless - he is such a great character actor.

It has been great fun for me watching these old episodes ... I think all the 'old' characters were at their best and the story-lines and writing were first class ... it's deteriorated markedly since Robert left. We'll have to disagree on Hazel's character! To be fair this is 10 years ago and even Aaron looks different here they are teenagers, Robert is fit and cute at his teenage years, i saw a small part in a movie when robert starred in he was young and he deffinatly was cute, when robert was first in Emmerdale he was literally 31 years old or something, robert did look old sometimes as well
