I'm now at the age where my newer guitar influences are younger than me. It feels weird looking "up" to these younger cats but I'm glad they're around to keep inspiration going. I'm glad Aaron has been doing standard tuning 6 string stuff, for my sake, it's easier to relate to in middle age. Totally relate to that "jukebox" thing of not knowing any songs to play on guitar at a party as well. I miss myspace.

Watched the whole thing. I've been a fan of Aaron's as a player for the longest time. But it's his intelligence, and his overall vibe that keep me enraptured. I feel like his grip on concepts that are relevant to living life to its fullest are what makes his persona, and his work, so authentic. He's capable of delivering a two and a half hour long interview without waning into uninterested/uninteresting territories while maintaining an ere of humility and modesty all the time. He's excited to talk about subjects that he's passionate about, and does so with clarity and precision. I'd give a lot of the credit to you, his interviewer, for being a listener first, and generating a "conversation" rather than an exposé. Great job on this one, man! Thank you for the content.

I love that there are people like Aaron and groups like Intervals, Periphery, Polyphia, Animals as Leaders, etc. that are producing this amazing guitar-based music. I find myself in my 50s really impressed with all these young people writing and performing this awesome guitar-driven music. I love all the great music that has come in the past - but you have to keep looking at your current surroundings and finding these gems that are building on that legacy.
