My brother was so much like Jesse Pinkman it was unsettling to watch Breaking Bad. I would cry at certain scenes. My brighter has since passed away from a fentanyl overdose. No tv character has ever struck a chord with me like Jesse Pinkman. He seemed so real to me.

Regardless of how his career ends up, Jesse Pinkman is one of the greatest characters ever to be aired on television. Most of us enjoyed Jesse's scenes more than Walter's. Aaron Paul is a legend in my book, purely for being a God-level actor for over 5 years on what is now considered the most critically acclaimed show of all time.

@@bren7080 totally agree. We've just finished watching season 3. There is a shot in there where Jesse is cleaning a circular drum in the meth lab and instead of just shooting him at a distance they mounted a camera on the drum and as he scrubs it we get a shot of Jesse rotating in the camera. I mean, that is just pure genius and it is also the complete A game all the time in terms of production. It is just so not lazy at all. Every shot, every piece of action, every word, every episode is at the A game. Incredible.

No matter how phenomenal Bryan Cranston was. It's fair to assume that Arron Paul's character resonated with allot more people than Walter White did. Sure older guys in the beginning of the show can really relate with Walt, the feeling of wasted potential, an amazing chemist stuck teaching High School. But everytime I watch Breaking Bad, the one character I always rooted for was Jesse. Especially by season 4 when it got really fucked. Just seeing Jesse having this continuous party in his house, surrounding himself with crackheads and degenerates. Simply just to distract himself from the darkness of his life as a meth cook. It's by that point, you realize Jesse isn't really a criminal. He just simply did what he thought was the only thing he could do.

I really feel for Jesse, so do a lot of other breaking bad fans. Ultimately he is just some one who was brought into all those mixed-up in the world. He might've made some mistakes, but he never set out to hurt anyone and always tries to minimize the damage, care for other people (unlike any other characters in the show), but sometimes the choice is just not in his hands. I'm so relieved that Jesse lived, that leaves me with some hope in the end. To me, Aaron Paul will forever be that kid who has a Pink to his name.

Jesse Pinkman as a character reminds me of my dad who died of addiction. Wonderful man with a kind heart but bad things always happened to him which is how he turned to addiction. I was just a child but did everything a kid could do to try and get him help but to no avail. When I watch Breaking Bad, Jesse is the character that I connect with the most and I can feel his pain because he suffers like my dad did and has a big heart like my father did. Aaron Paul is an incredibly talented actor to be able to portray such an exceptionally complex, flawed yet good hearted, vulnerable character. I find myself relating a lot to him a-lot as a character as well. Wonderfully written and performed role in the show

I’m glad he got back into a healthy mindset, but I’m sure getting a closer view of life on the streets enabled him to dive deeper into his character for sure and get a real taste of walking in those shoes. Didn’t disappoint 👏🏻

So crazy that this hidden talent had been lingering for years, not being utilized. I was watching Mission Impossible III the other day and he popped up for a five second scene with Tom Cruise, which I had totally forgotten about. If you guys search for the table read of the last episode of BB, thats where it becomes clear how invested Aaron was in the character of Jesse Pinkman. It’s just the table read and he’s still performing at an Academy Award level. The irony is that while Bryan Cranston was viewed as the journeyman actor, and rightfully so, it’s actually Aaron who made his co-stars jobs as actors easier, because when someone is so invested in their character like Aaron, consistently giving you 100%, all you have to do is just react. It almost takes the acting out of it. You just feel like you’re doing a scene with Jesse Pinkman, oppose to doing a scene with Aaron Paul playing Jesse Pinkman.

I have to wonder wear is career is gonna go after Breaking Bad. The problem is is that even though Jesse Pinkman is probably one of his best roles ever, and one that he is widely recognized for, the downside to that is that it may have stereotyped him. So, with that being said, I just have to wonder how is he gonna be able to break away from Breaking Bad - from Jesse Pinkman - and be able to Don roles where people will be able to see him, and NOT think of him as Jesse Pinkman?

Well he's been doing the voice of a character in BoJack Horseman which is a pretty great gig to be honest... It's sorta similar to Jesse in some ways but it's... A lot less intense and a lot less dark and i think it will lead into range

Aaron---Jessie felt like a real person to me also, also, as a fan and a viewer. That is because you played Jessie so brilliantly. You made him real. But, you are also real, Aaron- and I appreciate you and your family. You have given me much joy, Bitch!!!

Jesse isn't innately a likeable character, but he's a character you can't help but like. Aaron's performance of Jesse is so ridiculously good, it's hard for me to imagine he's NOT him, but it's powerful to see that even Aaron took on Jesse in his personal life. One of the most amazing performances in TV history as far as just owning the character 1000%.

break-in bad was shot like a movie so i think that and good writing is what made the show so entertaining and nothing like anything that was on TV at the time I remember watching one episode for the first time and thinking it was a movie the way it grabs you and the way it's written master piece
