@@braiqz -- I've lived surrounded by nothing but forest for most of my life, and apart from the occasional weird crashing noises you hear outside there's really nothing too scary. It's far more peaceful, really, and in the wintertime especially. Nobody, no matter how crazy, is going to spend their time in the freezing cold stalking you from the woods. Also, you just get a dog (or two) and even that worry disappears. You're a million times less likely to be a victim of a violent crime in a place like this than you would be in a populated area. It's so much more peaceful! It may take a minute to adjust at first, but trust me -- once you have the space, privacy and peace of being surrounded by nature you would never want anything else. It's worth all the minor inconveniences, for sure!
